Renaud graduated from Rennes University in civil law and post graduated in commercial law. After working with a law firm focused on corporate matters in Saint Brieuc Renaud rejoined Le Havre Bar and then MARGUET & LEMARIÉ Law Firm in 2004.

He deals with real estate, civil and commercial litigation. He also advises companies with regards to business and general corporate matters.

He speaks French (mother tongue) and English.

Renaud is also a fine sailor. He won several gold medals in the RORC races, for example.

Fabrice Lemarié

Fabrice Lemarié

Fabrice graduated from Rennes University with a degree in private law followed by a post-graduate degree in shipping law from the University of Brest. He trained as an Avocat with Bernard MARGUET and was admitted to the Le Havre Bar in 1999. Fabrice became a partner in 2004.

He handles all aspects of French maritime law and has wide experience of disputes relating to maritime carriage, freight forwarding and pleasure yacht dispute. His experience extends to civil and commercial disputes, road carriage including CMR and general admiralty matters.

He speaks both French (mother tongue) and English.

He is a member of the French Association for Maritime Law and Le Havre Propeller Club.

Bernard Marguet

Bernard Marguet

Bernard read Law at Paris II. He graduated in business law and post graduated in civil law. He has been qualified as an Avocat at Le Havre Bar since 1970. He acts now as an Honorary Lawyer.

He has a long staying experience in all aspects of French maritime law, especially transport, ship arrest, shipbuilding and insurance. He also advises in commercial litigation and international trade and commodities matters.

He speaks French (mother tongue) and English.

Bernard is a member of the French Association for Maritime Law and Propeller Club of the USA. He contributes to the board of the European Association of Propeller Clubs. He lectures maritime law at Le Havre and Toulouse University.

Lucie CAILLIERET GRAUX

Lucie post graduated from Paris University in civil law and also post graduated in medical liability issues from Paris V René Descartes University.

She was admitted to Le Havre Bar in 2002. After working with a non-specialist law firm in Le Havre, Lucie joined MARGUET LEMARIÉ & COURBON Law Firm in 2013.

She deals with most of civil law matters, especially with family disputes, civil liability, medical liability litigation and personal prejudices assessment.

Clotilde TABARY-AYRAULT

Clotilde, joined MARGUET LEMARIE & COURBON as a trainee lawyer and then as an associate in January 2021.

Clotilde completed her Master’s degree in Maritime Law at the University of Le Havre (France) in 2017 and was admitted to the Bar of Le Havre in 2021.
